Ursinsky
Field: "Ursinsky"
Location: Russian Federation, Republic of Buryatia
Area: 56.24 km²
Minerals: Coal
Coal reserves and resources: Coal reserves are estimated at 28 million tons.
The coals of the "Ursinskaya" depression are valuable energy and technological raw materials that have no analogs in the region. A positive assessment of the facility will provide high-quality fuel for part of the regions in the north of Buryatia and adjacent areas of the Chita region. On the basis of the technological redistribution of coal, it is possible to organize non-traditional industries for the region (production of electrodes, electrocorundum).
Information about the location (area) of the subsoil plot on which the work is planned, including a schematic map, indicating the boundaries of the subsoil plot
The Ursinsky subsoil plot with an area of 56.24 km2 is administratively located in the Yeravninsky district of the Republic of Buryatia, near the border with the Chita region and is confined to the southwestern end of the Ursinsky depression. The area of the Ursa depression was studied at the stage of the geological survey at a scale of 1: 50,000. The coals of the Ursa depression are valuable energy and technological raw materials that have no analogs in the region. A positive assessment of the facility will provide high-quality fuel for part of the regions in the north of Buryatia and adjacent areas of the Chita region. On the basis of the technological redistribution of coal, it is possible to organize non-traditional industries for the region (production of electrodes, electrocorundum, etc.).
Ursinskoe deposit is recommended (Ignatovich, 1998) primary study in order to create a proven base of scarce raw materials in the region. Thus, in the area under consideration, as will be clarified below, the greatest prospecting interest is coal, and this justifies the proposed boundaries of the claimed site.
